  • Apple pie made with milder, sweet apples like Gala apples or Fuji apples should be fine for many IC patients. I've eaten it for years and never had a flare from it. Granted, I try to avoid the mass market pies that you get from stores. Homemade is always better IMHO.

How are you now? great I hope! If not, I care. I've had IC for 18 years and can't stand to see anyone else with it. you can feel free to email me at reckoningz06@yahoo.com and put MissNiceBlades in your subject line.

    Blessings to you!

  • I love pumpkin pie! But my bladder doesn't care for much of the clove spice. When I make it, I don't put much clove at all, barely a pinch. It seems that when I buy it, then it has more clove in it:-( I normally do pretty good with mixed pumpkin pie spice and can leave the clove out altogether if I want.

  • I'm 15. About a year ago, I used to hold my pee a LOT. It was a really stupid thing to do, I know. Well, pretty much since then I've experienced symptoms similar to those of a Urinary Tract Infection, but when I got tested for one, the results said nothing was wrong. I also got an ultrasound of my bladder, but at the time the symptoms were not really there (it was like they had went away) and so they didn't find anything... I'm worried that it's IC.

  • Apple pie should be fine? I've been avoiding apples, I didn't know apple pie should be okay? Is there a certain type of apple that's okay?
