He was my teacher for 3 years. What a wonderful pedagogue! He loved life and used his flute as an expressive voice. Maybe it sounds like Dflat because the sound is very rich.. but you are right the tape must have been running a bit slow because it is a bit lower that concert D

Excellent performance! However, I noticed that the music appeared to sound like D flat major instead of the specified D major.
