Kelly Rowland Fires Beyonce's Dad Mathew Knowles!!

Joint statement from Mathew Knowles and Kelly Rowland on their amicable professional split:

"After a very positive meeting between Kelly Rowland and myself, we have amicably agreed to end our professional relationship. My company, Music World, will continue to manage Destiny's Child as a group. As an artist Kelly has incredible talent and I only wish her the best. We will always be family first and foremost, and as a dad I only have love for Kelly." ----Mathew Knowles

and yes " Queen Bee " does need promotion, b/c they promoted the hell out that that fourth CD entitled 4. Everyone needs promotion. Did she have any #1s on that CD? seriously I'm asking did she?

Kevin you on point about that Beyonce releasing her album it makes perfect sense, why else would someone who was on vacation, jump in the studio and create B day in about 2 weeks, and in time for her birthday, what u say! great marketing tool! ( I love B-day*ijs)

One thing I realized is that Kelly might not be as big as beyonce in the U.S. because there are so many kelly hatters here although I think she's gonna be really big in Europe specifically the U.K.

@theskorpionshow Hell YES! I remember that era because I was a Destiny's Child stan, worst that Makael is over Beyonc'e!..lol...and Beyonc'e 's work it out did flop and Columubia did put out a second fiddle ass cd with Kelly name on it and as much as I love all three ladies, Kelly should have been strong enough to see what the hell they were doing to her career. But we can't cry over spilled milk especially ince all three of those ladies are eating and eatin good!

@Annazayla well look what is happening now When Love Takes Over did incredibly well and her new single Commander is doing well too. She does have what it takes; she has a strong voice that she wasn't able to show off in Destiny's Child because Beyonce basically sang all the songs. She made a good decision

@RSDjam17 Yeah..Bey might be, but so is Gaga and a host of others. The truth me told, you have to be selfish to a certain extent in order to "make it" in that industry. I would probably be selfish too..and so would you. I wouldn't want to share my spot light with anyone.

@RSDjam17 Ok..Bey might be selfish, but in a way you have to be esp. in that industry. If ppl think you are too nice, they will eat you alive. Bey can have her father and mother stand up for her and do all the "dirty work" and not be blamed for it all together. Don't get it twisted, me, you or any other entertainter would probably be selfish to a certain extent if we were trying to make it in that industry and once we made it, try our best to stay on top.

@shaynah01 Loyality...she wanted to stay loyal to the Knowles and she thought that Matt and Tina had her best interest at heart as it relates to her career. I believe that Bey was the last to release her 1st solo album b/c her camp. wanted to see how well the other two girls did before Bey released her solo album, so if Bey didn't do so well, the group would stay together, they would go back into the studio and try again. The music industry is ruthless...and fame can be addicting.

@theskorpionshow Of course Kelly wouldn't have the same promotion as Beyonce....now what is going with her solo career? Kelly has still yet to release a successful solo album that has sold all across the world including the States? Granted she has won a Grammer for "Win Love Takes Over" but that's about it. I will say she is on more mag covers, but her solo career is not the same as Bey..and it doesn't have to be, but I just don't think Kelly has that "it" quality that could make her a star.
