I'm 38 and have spina biffida and if I can give any advice to anyone it would be stay as fit as possible .I didn't and what mobility I could have had is gone but could have been avoided by just keeping fit .advice to parents don't mollicoddle too much its a tuff tuff world your kids are going to have to be very strong minded if they are going to achieve thier dreams and there is no reason why they can't do anything I was a truck driver for 15 years for example .I used cruches now I use weelchair

So I take it he just had the opperation by the look of his back? I had the operation, but my feet were formed wrong, but i'm on the mend, Glad to see he is doin well :) I thought I was alone untill I search it on youtube and google. wow.

you are licky since you do have Association take care of Spina Bifida, my son encounters difficulty, as he is now 12 year old, he just goes to school, nothing else because such people doesn't not have support form the authority, I am very saad and disappointed..
