I've never had or ridden a motorcycle before, so I decided I would see what it was all about. Sorry about the audio. I forgot to turn up the sensitivity of the mic.

  • i also got my first motorcycle it was the same one as you but i added the termi slip ons which is a must for this bike ride safe and enjoy the sc classic congrats

  • @KannibalenRecords I've added the NCR oil cooler and the Michelin Power 2CT's so far. I want the Termi's also but I've been focused on finishing my truck. Maybe in a few months.

  • @KannibalenRecords got the Termi's and ecm on last week...what a difference

  • have you had any problems with the gas tank? I have read that the tank has some issues because of the way it fits on the frame. I really want one of these, but I keep switching between this, a thruxton, a misfit, or a ridiculously priced norton commando.

  • @shauniepaunie27 Yeah, the original tank was crap...had some bubbles and movement, and something with the fuel pump gasket. Everything was replaced under warranty and taken care of. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it...the tank showed to be $1826.

  • Hey I kinda want to make my first bike a ducati sport classic too. How did you like starting off on that kind of bike? was it difficult? did you buy it online or from a dealership? Would you suggest this as a starter bike to anyone else? srry for all the questions!

  • @ZombieDeathProof I liked it just fine...no big deal. I taught myself clutch control in the driveway and around the neighborhood, annoying the neighbors with lap after lap. Then I took a riding course. I don't think it was difficult once the coordination was down. I'm not sure how to buy one online, I got mine at a dealership. As far as for a starter bike...it depends on mentality. For me, this or something more powerful, only. But I like the cafe racer look.

  • How much did u pay for this?

  • its actually 992cc but yea i guess its the same thing

  • This is solely my opinion but I think that you are a douche for starting on a 1000cc v-twin.

  • lucky basterds, hell of a first bike!

  • @EB1611

Ninja 250 is an amazing bike. If you really want to learn how to ride, start on that mate, then build yourself up to a bigger bike later on. Actually scratch that: if you just wanna ride in straightlines to the store meet ur buddie 4 ice cream then give up riding when you get married/have kids then yeah get a 1300cc Hayabusa (nothing wrong w/ that btw). If u wanna be riding and doing trackdays @ 40, get a 250 imho

  • @scorpio3195

Sorry mate but thats complete bullshit. Thats what I hate about riders who dont do the starting off small thing - they hate on small bikes when those of us who started on small bikes know that they hella fun.

I've been riding for 10 years, and I dont own a car, have done many trackdays and trackschools and toured Europe, and my ultimate 10 bike garage includes a 2-stroke 125 or a 2 or 4 stroke 250. Nothing wrong w/ starting big but just dont h8

  • damn dude you have some balls to start out on a liter bike! jealous its your first bike haha i would kill for that thing
