Sea of Faith was a six-part documentary television series, presented on BBC television in 1984 by Don Cupitt. The program dealt with the history of Christianity in the modern world, focusing especially on how Christianity has responded to challenges such as scientific advances, political atheism and secularization in general. This second program dealt with Charles Darwin, Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung.

  • Jung is amazing. I love his theories; I find him to be far more interesting than Frued.

    I also learned that 'ego' is pronounced 'eggo'.

  • Wasn't Jung actually one of Freud's students? Actualy, wasn't he the one that said freud was wrong in many ways? This is not a correction, it's a question. I am nto sure. I don't blame him though. Freud went waaaay too far when he started experimenting on his own daughter (something I read somewhere)...-_-;

  • Good to see this type of material available on the web!

  • its funy how early christians forbid anything that creats a uphoric expieriance, my theory is if the mind is not conditioned to travel into the unconsious mind (years of meditation) it could drive one mad. (just a theory)
