I loved this! I always wanted to see more of he and Maya. Do you think that eventually Mr. Matsumoto will complete the "wheel of time" and reunite Maya and Harlock at long last? How many women are out there waiting for a Harlock, do you suppose? He's quite the guy, they are so few and far between these days. Perhaps that's why we respond to those who are so much larger than life... like Harlock. He may not have super powers, but he's got more in one little finger than most! Patnkatz

@patnkatz Thank you! It's true what you say about Harlock. To my mind, Harlock must die to complete this wheel of time, and then he may meet Maya again, but I am not sure he can die - all Matsumoto's characters have their destiny, and Harlock is destined to go on. After all, so many people wanted him to go on, including Maya.

Very good montage of one of the best anime movies I've seen! I'm also a fan of Space Battleship Yamato. Too bad not many romantic and chivalrous movies like these are being made any more. They hold a special place in my heart. The characters are so full of soul. So are the ships. It's amazing!
