Any updates to this project? I've sent a couple emails...unanswered. I have a similar robot from Fisnar and wish to convert it for Mach3 use. I have a smooth stepper board. I don't have information on the pinout of the Vexta drives. I was hoping I could either buy a board+micro from you or at least get the pinouts so I can make my own translator. Thank you.

    Hi,

Still working on it. I've managed to make some progress this past week. I've verified the the pcb designs are correct and have managed to drive the soldering head via Mach3

About four hours using the two pendants. :(

I'm convering it to Mach3 so I can automatically generate the Gcode from PCB data

Very nice. Well, I'm anxiously awaiting your results. I have the capabilities to work with whatever you have if you are interested in selling your prototype. I just want to have a desktop CNC for basic milling and engraving.
