  • I think it looks like a great weapon, and that guy was definitely enjoying his job, and seemed very knowledgeable, but why not employ this system with another round besides the .45 acp?

Honestly, the .45 makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside but is it truly any better than variations of other SMG type rounds other than it's diameter?

take the p90 for instance.... it has less recoil than the mp5, natural armor piercing capability and a much higher rate of fire and magazine capacity.

  • I believe they felt starting with .45 would show the recoil reducing capability of their system best while they do plan on making other caliber weapons.

  • i hope this is going to be the new standert smg for every police and military forces

  • A 7.62 or even 5.56 precision rifle using this system would be the perfect sniper rifle..... imagine the posibilities. wow!

  • Which is better in overall performance ? UMP .45 or Kriss super v. Anyway, it's a great weapon

  • @IMFDB The .45 isn't NATO standard either I believe.

  • man this weapon looks awesome. other companies focus on improving their designs to make them sell more, these guys addressed the number one issue of modern firearms.

  • @Callmebetty123 The 5.7 P90 round is a non NATO round and not in your average military ammo box.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH i was just lookin for the mp9... were is it? seems like a dead gun or somethin

  • @Callmebetty123 A number of reasons. .45acp is a large diameter round so in FMJ applications it makes a big hole. When combined with a JHP round .45acp can expand to over .75in I'm not sure if you realise how much meat thats tearing through but even a poorly placed thorax shot with a string of those (Kriss on FA) will cause someone to bleed out much faster. .45acp lends itself to silencing pretty well. Standard 230grn FMJ rounds are moving at around 930FPS making them subsonic and very quiet.

  • Hmmm, here's a thought. Using this system, since the bolt goes downward instead of back, you could technically build a DGI weapon system without a buffer tube, and therefore one with a folding stock., yes? Just a thought.

  • @Callmebetty123

The FN-p90 is not an SMG, it's a PSW, like the HK mp9. It fires a round intermediate to that of a pistol/SMG and an assault rifle.

  • @Johnnyman64 super v stands for vector though... the guy even says it at the start of the video

  • If ANY MW2 Fanboys call this the vector one more time i will kill myself.
