On Fox News' Hannity and Colmes last night, Dick Morris argued that Sen. Barack Obama's tenuous connection to former Weatherman Bill Ayers is the "equivalent of having a close relationship with Osama bin Laden."

Unlike George W Bush, who not only had a deep family relationship with the BIn Laden's, but was actually funded in his first business operation (Arbusto Oil) in the 1970's with funding from OBL's brother Salem Bin Laden.

The fact that there has never been any doubt about the family relationship between the Bush's and Bin Ladens, or the obviousness of Bush's hands-off policy on OBL for the entirety of his presidency, but in bizarro world it's Barack Obama with "questionable ties" to OBL!

The analogy you express is RIDICULOUS. Obama would not be able to get a secret service job due to his GUILT BY ASSOCIATION. He shouldn't get arrested, he should not be running due to his extraneous relationships. Being an independent myself, I'd rather vote for someonw who shot rockets from a warplane than someone who shot staples at telephone poles. Period, end of story.
