This concept was already done in a 1959 film called "Bucket of Blood"

These studs are hotter than hell, I only hope the scenes with the ugly killer chick are kept to a minimum, although I realize that a) she's the center of the story, and b) in real life she's some sort of legend of cult-classic horror movies, and was probably the key to the movie being made in the first place.
