Glaciologically, ice age implies the presence of extensive ice sheets in the northern and southern hemispheres; by this definition we are still in the ice age that began at the start of the Pleistocene (because the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets still exist).

Yes, in GREENLAND. But no conclusions can be drawn from a temperature reconstruction in any single site which is not shown to be for some reason representative of the global pattern.

Isn't is interesting that they don't say who or what organization published the graph. Just that it was published in 1999. Hmmmm.
I know. I have a graph that was published in 2007 that says we are in the middle of an ice age. Don't ask me for a source or citation.
