One Man Band, Dave Harris performs a medley of Henry Thomas songs on the Victoria BC causeway May 2009, filmed by Peter Janz. The songs are Bulldoze Blues (Canned Heat "borrowed" this one for Going Up the Country), Don't Leave Me Here and Don't Ease Me In (covered by the Grateful Dead) and Fishin' Blues (covered by Taj Mahal). Thomas played guitar and panpipes (or quills, as they were called then, late 1920's) and was already well into middle age man at the time (born 1874).Here the one man band is vocal, harp, 12 string guitar, fotdella and farmer foot drums.
