That was fun! I've only played poker when I want to sit at the bar and drink free. But with what very little I know about the game, I usually do better than at the slots. Weird. In Vegas, it feels like the Poker slots are looser than the one armed bandits. Or maybe it was just beginners luck...

thanks! i like video poker because generally, not always- it does seem like you can sit there longer than slots. it's all random, really- but poker is fun for me, just to kill some time. peace

ya dude you dont hold ace, queen, 9 of diamonds. you go without the 9. I have have hit 3 royals this year. My first was on Jacks or Better and I didn't even hold anything. 10 through ace of clubs just came up and gave me $1060 with a max bet $1.25, but my last 2 royals where from just holding 2 of the connector cards. THATS IT! Always leave yourself open for a royal if your going for a flush. Unless its like ace, king, 4, and 6 all diamonds. Then go for the flush.

.....eh good lord dont play video poker like this fool. Do yourself a favor and go read about the math behind the game. These are not like slot machines at all. Video poker does use a RNG but that is how they are different. I could only watch this hill billy for a couple mins. and about the only thing he did right was holding AA when dealt 2 pair in this game. Another deviation from standard would be when you are dealt a full house with 3 As you only hold the As. AAA44 throw out the 44 keep AAA

instead of backdoors i would just pick a high card jack or higher, then u have 3 outs on four cards thats 2%x3 outs=6 x4 drawing cards about 25% thats 3 to 1 against u or 1 in 4, if there is no highcard go for the flush just for fun lol

advice: u shouldent play backdoor flushes they only count for like 2 outs because they are running outs, i think if i read my books correctly its u have an about 10% chance to get one thats 9 to 1 and what does it pay out i cant see that but lower than 9 to 1 its bad, each out is abit more than 2% so thats 4% for 2 outs multiplied with to running cards plus the extra its roughly 10%
