@jthomcres Somewhat? Just fire Resident Evil into wikipedia. It has everything you could possibly want to know about the game, short of checking the wiki made for the series, which'd just be information overload. It's mainly item location changes, wardrobe changes, and such.

Is the Director's Cut the only remaining version commercially available? I haven't been able to find an original RE1 playthrough on youtube, so my question to fans is: does it make a difference in the gameplay?

@DarkOrderSolDjango I agree completely, I still get goosebumps during the into to the SNES version of FF 6 ;) I'm just saying that, back then, getting an intro with graphics as good as this was a major treat. Unfortunately, today things seem to revolve more and more about graphics instead of actual aesthetics... watch Extra Credits if you don't know what I mean with that <.< That's a good show ;D

@YinYangWolf Hi, the graphics is not what make a game good, some game on nes, snes and other old video games are better than recent one, it's about story, gameplay and epic music, like resident evil =)
