Lenny Dee - Freight Train

Lenny Dee performing "Freight Train" on November 2, 1982 at his club, Lenny Dee's Kings Inn at Treasure Island, Florida. Lenny plays his customized white Hammond Model A (note the solovox accent at the beginning and end of the Freight Train). On drums is Lenny's son, J. R. This is a clip from a personal video. This is the only video I am aware of that shows Lenny playing his custom white model A Hammond (please let me know if you aware of any other videos of Lenny playing this instrument!). This was the beginning of the first of two shows Lenny played during one evening at his club. Lenny performed on St. Pete Beach in the earliest days, but his Kings Inn club was located on Treasure Island.

Lenny's son was JR. I don't know how long he accompanied Lenny Dee at the club, but I did meet him one time. He at that time was selling Real estate, don't know if he is now or not. They sound great together.
