When visiting Tommy's Aunt Ada in her nursing home, Tuppence encounters some odd residents, Mrs Lancaster, being the strangest of them all. Her incessant reference to 'something behind the fireplace' and a 'poor child' seems at first the incoherent ramblings of an elderly woman, though when Aunt Ada sadly passes away, a painting left to Tommy in her will leads the duo on a dangerous adventure where they finally discover exactly what Mrs Lancaster was talking about.
Very Enjoyable!!

Agatha Christie is magic herself. She was more than an author and story teller, she was a phenomenon, and should be regarded as a wonder of the world. There is not another mystery writer who can make me react with such joy when either reading, listening to her audio-books or watching films based upon her writings. She definitely had a remarkable mind and soul.

@mlnbds I agree. Any Agatha Christie is better than what television usually has to offer, and yes, I've watched what I think is the entire collection of Tommy and Tuppence from the 80's. Loved them.

@talispoona Let's face it, Tommy and Tuppence are nowhere near popular enough to have their own new series right now (there was one in the 80s, if you're interested). Just be glad these stories are brought to life at all instead of being forgotten.

@xxxPurplexGirlxxx I have to agree with you about much of what you say. I'm an Agatha Christie fan, and admire her writing too much to say this resembled her book. I love Tommy and Tuppence, and also adore Jane Marple.....but, they each stand on their own very well......working together doesn't seem quite right.
I do think this adaptation was entertaining in it's own right.....I hope those who liked this will read Agatha Christie's novels...then, watch more of what YouTube offers.

felt that she didn't belong here and I didn't really like how she replaced Tommy.
Second of all, there were a bunch of characters here that weren't in the book(like, if I remember correctly, the child that was killed behind the fireplace didn't have a sister)
Third of all, they took out a lot of things that happened in the book. (For example, the part where Nellie Bligh coshes Tuppence on the head or the part in the beginning where Tuppence finds the house.)
Anyways, that's just my opinion.

Probably somewhat of a rant below, keep reading if you care.
I honestly hated this episode. If you haven't read the book and think this is good, read the book. It was 10x better than this.
Part of the reason I didn't like it was because they changed it WAY too much from the book (and before you argue with me, read what I say next.). I understand that it is good to change some of the book for the screen. But they changed WAY TOO MUCH OF IT. First of all, Miss Marple wasn't even IN the book. I
