4/53 turbo gmc new cylinder head first run

Just finally got the 4/53t up and running well. It had a burnt vavle. I did all the work myself with a little help with the tune up from a friend of mine. N60 injectors and stock to4b98 turbocharger.

these engines always look at home under the hoods of these old 70s-80s pick-ups, its my dream to get a '72 chevy c10 longbed and put one of these under the hood, and finish it off with a matte blach baint and a few suspension tweaks. But im only 14, got about $4,000 to work with so we will see how this works.

That's totally awesome! Glad you got it running good! They are really fun engines, and fun when you pull up somewhere by someone that knows diesel engines. Always makes a good conversations piece. I really need to do some more work to mine and fix it up better. I like the way yours sounds. Thanks for letting me know you got it running good and for posting this as a response to mine.
