In the series and other similar cartoons, hell even in the A team, nobody ever gets killed despite people shooting and fighting every episode. The movie comes out an all of a sudden kids' favorite cartoon characters are getting massacred. I remember when this came out and my old man brought home the video, I was like 4-5 and after seeing my fav autobots killed in the first ten minutes and then the mighty megatron being killed off, I was inconsolable. The new breed of characters sucked too!

I cried when Prime died... I was 7 years old, when Perceptor said "I fear the wounds are fatal" I remember quickly turning to my dad, "DAD! WHAT DOES 'FATAL' MEAN! IS THAT BAD?? DAD!??"...

unbelievable. Weaving said that? Frank Welker MUST voice Megatron period. Honestly, I could do without another so-called Transformers movie. Jason Bay is an insult to Transformers himself with the garbage he has put out.
