The body of Michaela was discovered in the bathroom of room 1025 at the Legends Hotel in Grand Gaube, in the North of Mauritius.

On 16 January 2011
A Mauritius police source revealed that the three McAreavey suspects could expect to suffer more than most convicted of the brutal crime.
He said: "There is honour among thieves and a code which many prisoners follow. Everyone is angry about this attack on a visitor and it is likely whoever is convicted will find it hard in jail."

The two men charged with the killing of Michaela Harte will go on trial in Mauritius on 22nd of May 2011. She had entered her hotel room just as they were inside robbing her, she had disturbed them, so they killed her. I hope they get what they rightly deserve.

I found out someone said the guy was Andy Ruck from Northern Ireland, but no luck on iTunes getting this particular song. Thanx anyway! :)

Yes, it's Andy Ruck - he hasn't yet released the song. The only one of his that I see at iTunes is called "Mary Cunningham, The Christmas Gost".

My aunty went to the same hotel as she did on her honeymoon. She was strangled bcos she scrabed one of the men they no this bcos there was proof under her fingernails thats how they found her killers it's very sad

It is certainly Andy Ruck and you can find other songs on youtube by Andy. Andy wrote this song for his mother when she died after a short illness.  He also sings Blow Away and Shinning Star, all beautiful songs. His voice is fantastic and I think he deserves to be recognised. Andy is very talented when he can write a song like this. Do as I done get onto the local Radio to play this song "Angel" by Andy Ruck.

If the Radio plays it enough and gives him some publicity he may get a backer.

The title to the song is 'Angel'. Andy hasn't yet released this song - but may soon.

He is looking for a backer.
