Former feral kittens Casey, Tiger, and Serena having a great time playing.
Spay and neuter your pets! These three are the lucky ones, because I was able to capture, tame, and adopt them.
They had at least two siblings in the same litter that died because somebody who originally had their mom (Whitenose) didn't spay her those two kittens had to suffer and die for it.
One (gray kitten) died of unknown causes, but we believe that he or she got up inside somebody's car, because that's what they were all doing. If this is true, he or she died a horrible death when the car started. The other one (Baby) died of a bad infection before we could save her. Her skin was so covered in ringworm that she only had small tufts of fur and this led to her susceptibility to an infection.
Even these three lucky kittens had to suffer with their skin being encrusted with ringworm from being born outside and exposed to ringworm from the feral colony, until we were able to get them treated.
Your cats don't need babies! Female cats need the freedom to be a cat, not a kitten machine! Male cats need to be able to be free from the hormonally driven urge to fight and spray mark everything in sight. Your cats will be better off, and it will prevent a lot of unecessary death and suffering if you get them all spayed/neutered. Thank you so much if you've already spayed/neutered your pets.
