On March 28, 1965, Martin Luther King, Jr. appeared on NBC's Meet The Press.

One week after leading his historic five-day march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, King said that the demonstration was necessary not just to help push the Voting Rights Bill through, but to draw attention to the humiliating conditions in Alabama such as police brutality and racially-motivated murder.

  • YuriKimmer943, i hope you're including the caucasian race of which i'm a member. But just look at caucasians' MISTREATMENT, DISRESPECT and MURDER of The "Only True Americans" The Native American Indians :'(!

  • You guys seriously? Stop trying to convince people through your comments and just enjoy the message the video brings. People will never change their opinions just from a few comments (or anything really). Just ignore the damn idiots and move on. Oh yeah and fuck all you racist fuckers! Were all the same we just have different mutated features that formed because of climate change and migration to different areas with different climates.

  • @timjcar A racist is one who believes that his/her race is superior over all others. And hates all overs either half or fully kin to that other races

  • @roadrashsuxass Israel got their own issues first of all and the US is still a colony of the British. And the Russian would of been more happy to show the world how hypercritical they were about equality, freedom and democracy. ANd to educate yourself this was meant to happen and the Blacks, Latinos, Arabs and Jews were one people

  • @DrKnockOut1115 R word or the N word should not be tolerrated either way!

  • @DrKnockOut1115 Please just kill the %^*^&*^ he won't learn until he is in front of God for Judgement.

  • there better not be any racist comments on here or else i will find and destroy u!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just came back from a battle ove Michael Jackson and Ricky Martin's innocences!

  • @roadrashsuxass You seem to have a lot of educating to do yourself. MLK did desire division between Blacks and Whites. He desired unity. You sound like an uneducated "Conspiracy Theorist" which is sad because there are Conspiracies dealing with the land of "Zion" and ignorant retorts presents all conspiracies in bad light. Thoroughly research issues before opening your mouth. Every famous leader is not a member of the Illuminati, still getting your info from old GeoCities websites huh?

  • @zombiebutt13 And where you are, they call you comatose.

  • @roadrashsuxass LOL.
