This is about four Pit Bulls, Monroe, Reilly, Razzle and Dusty. They were found on a property the day after a dog fighting bust occurred in Rasinville, Michigan in Monroe County. They were found to have never been used in the fighting ring, having no scares to prove such. The Buster Foundation and Monroe SPCA have been trying to save these dogs since they were found the day after the bust, left behind by officers who never bothered checking all of the property. The court has order to euthanize Monre, Dusty and Reilly and allowed Razzle to be released on this day. The dogs were ordered to die because of the testimony of Dr. Katherine Houpts who stated the dogs served no useful purpose. With the help of their two attorney's Tracy Thomas and Beth Wickwire, they are working on a appeals process. On May 9, 2011 Trina from the Monroe SPCA went to Monroe County Animal Shelter where the dogs were being housed and found that two of the dogs, Monroe and Reilly, had suffered sever and life threatening injuries. The County Animal Shelter states that Monroe broke through the fencing and got stuck on Friday May 6, 2011. Reilly was found to have over a 2 inch gash in his leg and over 53 perfectly circular punture wounds to his body. Shelter employees admit to knowing the dogs were injured on Friday May 6, 2011, yet no medical treatment was given for their sever wounds when they were found by Monroe SPCA on Monday May 9, 2011. The shelter claims they have no idea what happened to Reilly. Our vet has stated that the over 53 puncture wounds found on Reilly are perfectly symmetrical in shape and was not consistent with a dog bite. A strange substance also seems to be poured on to the two dogs, yet no one at animal control seems to admit to what this substance is. After further inspection we find this substance to be ceptic water was poured on the dogs. Another words, fecal matter from toilet waste. Visiting Judge Collins made an order for Buster Foundation to take the dogs into their care on that very day. Only 2 months later later Judge Vitale ordered the return of the dogs back into the care these very same abusers, the Monroe County Animal control. This was prior to the trial being over. This video is of Jon and Margrette from The Buster Foundation, picking up Razzle who has been ordered to be released. They also attempt again to get Reilly the medication he needs. Once again Reilly is denied medical care despite a court order saying Buster Foundation can visit the dogs and provide medical care. It is also state law that the dogs be provided medical care. You will hear in this video Director Benson refusing to give treatment to the dogs.

  • rebertrebert, With or without the court order, by not providing medical treatment to an animal in need is breaking state laws and regulations for the Department of Agriculture. It does not matter if the dog is in quarantine or not.

  • i think it is shit that person dont need to be in that type of work that fucking shit and someone needs to be slaped

  • MVP, This is just two people not agreeing to disagree. In the time she took to argue about it, she could have made a call to the prosecutor's office and ttempt to clarify if this is still valid. His argument is sound, as is her "I'm only doing what I'm told" stand. The lack of action of the shelter staff leads me to believe harm is intended for the dog needing treatment. The more advanced the heartworm becomes, the more likley the dog will not bea ble to recover once treatment is received.

  • Urgghhh! Angry! Frustrated. Quarantine for Heartworms? Really?

  • I don't understand. What is the objection to providing medication to the dog? Are they trying to harm him? Is this a "shelter"? Unbelievable

  • This is pure bullying of someone. The repetitive petulant questions, the grating and condescending tone. Goebbles and Dick Cheney would be proud.
