Dig Dug 'Dig' Achievement Walkthrough Xbox 360

I thought I had the screen cleared multiple times, but the achievement didn't unlock. Then, I thought I might need to clear areas that APPEAR blank, like the spot to the left/right of where you start and the blank spaces where monsters start, and area that might be cleared by a fallen rock. Once I made sure to clear these areas, the achievement was mine!

Hmm, I don't know that for sure, but once you've "dug out" the entire screen, the hard part is done. To be safe, just blow up one of the remaining two monsters and the level is complete. I killed myself immediately on the next level and got the achievement.
