Bus Accident - The Aftermath

While on tour with Metric in Canada, our bus was hit by a truck going the opposite way. It was -30 c and there wasn't a town for hundreds of miles. Luckily our driver Mikey was alert and reacted perfectly. Had he swerved too far to avoid getting hit, we would have flipped over. I was in my bunk at the time of impact, and as soon as we were hit I thought of all the times people told me that the worst place to be during an accident is in your bunk. We got away without a scratch and continued to drive for another 15 hours. With a few missing windows, the bus was FREEZING but at least we're alive and well.
