Okko Diablo or Twin Sonic?
-
@SonicStrings What was the real problem with your Diablo?

The whammy bar seems a little redundant when you can bend the neck that much, and it would probably knock the whole thing out of tune. I love the resonance the metal of it adds to the sound though. Very fresh.

you have made a crestwood

wow, this guitar sounds amazing! Love the tone of those minihumbuckers! Great playing also... I don't really like the Okko Diablo a lot - bought it the other day but soon switched back to the Xotic BB-Plus which sounds rounder and tighter than the Okko in my ears. Surely a matter of taste, but no matter how I tweaked the knobs, the Okko always had a little harshness in the top end I didn't like.... Yet, the Twin Sonic here in this video sounds very good the way you use it!

That's a great sound you're getting out of that guitar there. I'd be too scared to rout one of those for mini hums, but it sure sounds great!

good enough for me! thx. btw, do you know Eric Johnson? He is a friend of mine. If you know him you should tuen him onto this pedal. If u don't know him try to meet him next tiem he's in Europe and maybe give him a few to try out. He's a really nice guy and I'm sure if he started using them they'd boost their sales tremendously. thax again. keep on rockin'!

If I don't think that the Diablo is the best Overdrive pedal ever - I would not play it on every gig!!!
