@44jeanette44 i'm afraid i must disagree with you on this, jean-luc had no emotion and no character development whereas janeway and her crew became like family, she was also a damn sight harder than jean-luc since she took on the entire borg collective and won, whereas he got pwned by a single cube.
finally, i personally thought voyager looked rather sleek and well proportioned, unlike the galaxy-class vessels, where all the sections seemed to be designed for entirely differently sized ships.

Janeway is a pretty BA captain. I'm not sure you can top Jean-Luc Picard, but she's still epic. Too bad she gets the ugliest ship to command...why must Voyager look like a pregnant spoon!?!?
