The artist on Action Comics in this Brainiac arc is outstanding from what it looks like there! Im gonna have to wait for the TPB of that run! Looks great and if youre giving it good reviews then how can I go wrong!

It hasn't been retconned, just further explained!
And c'mon the whole Alien in a humans body origin that Byrne/Wolfman gave us was only so-so at best.
