Review on essie Matte About You
$10 USD / $8 on eBay
0.5 fl oz. / 15 ml

What is it?
- Transforms your nail polish to a matte finish

Pros:
- Provides variety, economical, and versatile
- Only requires 1 thin coat (replaces your top coat)
- Durable formula that does not last longer or shorter than original polish
- Free of DBP, Toluene, and Formaldehyde

Cons:
- Matte finish will wear off and smooth out over time (more quickly than a regular matte nail polish IMO)

Would I recommend?
I highly recommend this product for anyone who likes a matte finish on their nails. This product gives you the versatility to mattify any existing nail polish you have instead of buying a specifically matte polish. This can save you lots of money!!

  • I really like your style of videos - very clear and concise!! I subbed :)

  • @Cilucia Thank you for your support!! I really appreciate it :)

  • 6 days!? How can your nailpolish last that long?

  • @LinneLCO The Zoya polish probably has a lot to do with it. I've found their nail polishes to be very long-lasting in general!

  • very cool! i want to try this :)

just a side question.. where is this location that you're filming at? lol when you did your first video at this location i thought it was your hotel in las vegas. but you're not there any more are you!?

  • @carrieee33 This is filmed at my place, but from the living room instead of my room :) I think the lighting is better and the background isn't as busy/distracting! What do you think?

  • after ONE day my nails get glassy after the matte coat, i love matte but i always have to reapply :(

  • wow! ive been looking for "matte magic" from china glaze and i think they discontinued it! i subbed!

  • You are nice :) Do you live in Japan? ;)

You have subcribe from me ;)

    Have nice day :))

  • i love matte nail polishes :D

  • Do you think it would work if I used this matte finisher over an already matte colour? I have 2 matte nail polishes that I love but they chip incredibly fast. I really like your videos!

  • Thanks for doing this video, I was just checking out the finisher on ebay today, and I wansn't sure about getting it. now I think I will.

  • I have to get this stuff, a woman at a local hair salon told me about this product cause I was looking for matte nail color. This video really helped me with everything I need to know about the item. Thank you! ^_^

  • this looks much more effective than my opi nail envy matte. :p for that, I found the most effective when it is applied over a regular top coat after an over-night drying. (well, I guess a few hours would do too,but never tried that. xD) will definitely get this instead when my bottle finishes. :) thanks!!

  • hun you said "it takes any laquer finish and turns it a matte finish" about 4 times :( Not pin pointing, just throwing it out there :)

  • @ericaleung13 Thank you for your reply Erica. :) I've never seen Zoya polishes anywhere, but I'll keep an eye out after this!
