this was a very tragic accident. Today, they do shut down the park in weather like this, people are tossed out of the national park campgrounds and left on their own to find other places to stay. They also shut down the park loop road that runs along the edge of the ocean. People die in this area of the park every year, without a bad storm, so shutting the park down because of a bad storm is crazy. Do away with the national parks, then no one will die in them.

What kind of a person would "dislike" this video. Were you hoping the persons weren't rescued or something. I mean, join the human race and get a heart. This was an amazing rescue by the Coast Guard. And those that "disliked" this video, maybe you'll find yourself in this position one day, and you can give a thumbs down to being rescued then.

There was a Coast Guard Jet airplane and CG Hellicopter, they arrived later at around 1 or 2pm searching overheard for people. I was glad to see that these people were working so hard to save the lives of others while risking there own.
