@airsoftguy22 i don't think u can because the display port is a mini display out port the only way it would work is if it were a mini display in/out port...hope that answered your question

I've used this for a couple of months, and it works fine. I have do have a small question... If I watch a movie in VLC and I drag it to my TV screen, but when I than put it on fullscreen, my macbook's screen turns black and is useless... It would be handy if I could keep using my macbook while watching a movie on fullscreen on my TV... Is that possible in any way?

@ThomasVand88 My iMac Does not turn black. Have you tried using a different application than VLC? I watch video on the internet on the TV and it works just fine.
