thats probably one of the smartest things i've read online in a long time... you can't honestly say you know any art without first going to the its country of origin.
and this isn't coming from some joe blow on the streets either... i'm proud to be a practioner in taekwondo, as well as hapkido and kumdo. i've been training in taekwondo for around 2 years, and i'll tell you we americans probably don't know half of what true taekwondo is... thats why i plan on eventually going to korea to train..
tkd ive been training for a while.....and i wanna become a black belt so bad i willl train my hardest though its gonna be tough i love tkd you have an advantage then judo because yuor legs are longer distances, though what ever style you train there is no saying which ones the best, as long as your good at it.
i didnt mean to offend, and i didnt say i was an expert. although if fighting multiple no-bodies youd have a good chance of fighting them off, for a little while at least, but if one of the multiple attackers knew wrestling of jiujitsu, would make it really hard to say it would be effective in that situation, same with bjj?
omg awesome luuv it!

Thats IF one of them knew wrestling or jiujitsu, that is why some Taekwondo pracitioners take up Judo, or Hapkido.
