Adventures of Rambee is a pilot episode of Malayalam cartoon animation created by Salahudheen A M (Sam -- www.sonicmedia2.com) 7 years back. It is based on a story by famous Malayalam child story writer Sri Venu Variath. The animation was produced by US settled Indian citizen Sri. Jayakrishnan J. The animation was done by Sri Nashban and Sri Saifudheen and myself. This 20 minute pilot episode took 600 hours 60000 rupees in the making. Major portion of the fund and time was spent on research on streamlining flash based 2d animation process that enable affordable but high quality animation in lesser time. The only local made Malayalam animation aired during that period was "kattiley kannan" which was no where near Rambee in movements that we where able to do. Till date our character movements are far more superior that any cartoon produced in local animation industry. Rambee was never aired as the offers we go at that time where pretty low. However the industry has grown and the potential of cartoon series have increased with the possibility of re-telecast in multiple languages.
