I have questions here:

1- why do we need Hilbert Space to study Quantum mechanics theory ?

2- what does it mean in real life when we add two sub-Hilbert spaces. I mean if you can give an example using Atoms, it will be great !

1. QM has linear operators works in Hilbert space.

2. I have list of 'to-do' with respect to QM videos and it includes 'to demonstrate how two sub systems behave' - will post it sometime..

just a reply on point # 1:

can you give me an example on linear operators and Non-linear operators ?

I want to know what kind of operators that are not in Hilbert space and therefor can not exist in QM theory.
