Spent a day fishing with my buddy (and Truckee River Fly Fishing Guide), Matt "Gilligan" Koles. He knows this water like no other and can stick some serious fish.
We fished a few different methods this day in early April and all were pretty productive. Nymphed with a switch rod, stuck a nice fish on a dry, and Gil even hooked a few using a hopper/dropper method.
