Brazilian Air Force Smoke Squadron Crash 04-02-2010 / Acidente com avião da Esquadrilha da Fumaça

04/02/2010 one of the saddest days for the Brazilian Air Force Smoke Squadron, Captain Anderson Amaro Fernandes died during an air show in Brazil. The causes of the accident will be investigated by the Air Force.

Born in Fortaleza-CE Brazil on April 20th, 1976, he joined the Air Force in 1996, EPCAR. Conducted the following courses: Wing Attack Aviation, Flight Instructor, International Air Traffic, Squadron Leader at T-27 aircraft.
In 2001 he went to the CATRE, in Natal, Brazil. Continued in 2002 for the 2nd ELO in the BASC, where he remained until 2003. He returned to the Academy in 2004 where he performed the following duties: Assist the Operations Squadron and Chief of the 1st EIA adjutancy office, Operations and Commander of the 1st Squadron EIA. He is currently the Head of Subsection Heritage.
