  • Tragic is definitely not the word. There were no hydraulics anywhere. The river would carry everyone down to calmer water. Not a really big deal

  • we call that the "disneyland splat to snaggle tooth eddyline flip maneuver", not unheard of but "nearly tragic as a raft capsizes in class 4 rapid" no, a lot of safety downstream and thats how we play it out on the poudre, safe and downstream. Big water though Fast!

  • Perfectly ordinary flip, with a clean flush into flat water... happens all the time. No tragedy, no drowning, no major risk.
