Halo 3 glitches- Sgt. Johnson turns into a flood combat form

I keep Johnson alive after his death scene, then he gets attacked by flood infections forms, and gets infected after he dies. Also, after I blow him away with the laser, one of his legs remains.

kill him before you go to the room with guilty sparks if done right the next time the game starts the infection forms will be around him and infect him, make sure you stole his laser or else....
