We spent one night at the ICEHOTEL at the World's largest hotel made of ice and snow. It is located in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden (near Kiruna). We were staying in one of the 20 art suites.. called "Carnivale" and this is us, before we went to bed ;)

  • Hey, did you see the Northern Lights when you were in or near Kiruna? I was there for four nights a few Christmasses ago and was very lucky to see them every night. Absolutely amazing!

  • absolutely stunning... saw them on our snowmobile/northern lights tour.... we were really lucky, the other nights the weather wasn't that brilliant!

  • Excellent! You two are braver than I was - I ju'st did a tour through the hotel but didnt stay. I did have a drink in the hotel bar - vodka and ice (the glass was made from ice!) Did you get a video of that?

  • I mean just walking through and visiting the icebar would be sufficient 2... but we had the opportunity and took it... nothing I need to do 365 days a year, but it was a great for one night! :D

  • omggggggggggggggggggg.... how the heck did you actually survive?????????? I would freeze to death! Honestly! Thanks for this cccccoooooool vid. lol. 5 stars! Brig

  • the sleeping bags are really warm and only -5°C inside... outside the hotel -30°C

  • hehe... no that was for real... it wasn't that cold though... only -5°C outside it was up to -30°C... in the hotel itself, there are no doors... but you have your doors in the dressing rooms (where u store your luggage)... more vids to come...

  • Wow, I thought u were kidding when you mentioned the ice hotel on the 1st video :P

I think I might be abe to sleep if I would have all winter warm equipment. So, no doors in the ice hotel? Share some more, I loved it!!

    Cheers,

    Mari
