A short tutorial showing you how to add and edit modules using the Joomla! content management system. For more information visit our website at www.tendaydesign.com
I'm on Joomla 1.7 and don't get the option to edit the index.php via the Template Edit page. It would help if you say what version of Joomla this is for. I did learn that if you click the Options button in the Template Manager page you get an option titled "Preview Module Positions" that was defaulted to Disabled. Setting this to Enabled means I can (finally!) use "?tp=1" on the end of my frontend and see the module positions, which aren't what I thought from viewing index.php in an editor.
