Video of a Brown Line train, taken on October 1, 2009, departing Clark/Lake station in the Loop and passing through Merchandise Mart station. Maybe the CTA will update the Chicago/Franklin station signage soon to reflect the name the announcements give it. While they're at it, maybe they can introduce a little more distinction between the four Kedzies and the five Westerns.

This is a Brown Line train to Kimball.

  • @clsumjr yup, thumbs up

  • I have alwyas been fascinated by the L, since I was a kid. My friend and I, one Friday each summer in august, would ride one line to each end.

  • As a youngster I had a terrible fear of the subways. The tunnels were dark and the trains just seem to be speeding a 100 miles per hour. In time I came to love the subway. But it's interesting to see Chicago's trains snaking around the buildings downtown. Very nice video! Thanks for sharing!
