GTR Evolution - Top Gear Test Track - Audi R8 - 1:16.404

If you check out my other video, this is just an improved time over it.

All driver's aids off, Xbox 360 controller, final time of 1:16.404.

I know I did cut the first part of the Follow Through a little bit, but no more than I've seen the Stig cut it.. same with Gambon. Fastest time so far for me without cutting..er... shaving those corners like I did is a 1:17.075.

is this on the 360? the reason im asking is because it only says 360 controller and im just trying to clear things up for myself

This is GTR Evolution for the PC. The track is downloadable online, it's not an official track. I was using a 360 controller on my PC for this video, sorry for the confusion.

Thats faster than the Stig did it in.

I think there are several factors why it's considerably faster than real life.

If you look in the video, I accelerate from 0-60 in like 3.2 seconds.. but the real life 0-60 time of this car is 4.6-4.8, so that's a huge discrepancy. Also, I took turns at speeds in this game that I would *never* attempt in real life.. heh. The Stig's time was 1:24.40 on a damp track.. so let's say 1:21 - 1:22 or so on dry... combined with this being a video game = Close, but not quite perfectly true to real life.
