Catherine at 90--Improv number 9 ("Spanish Reverie")

Due to a medical mistake, my mother, Catherine Grasse, went blind at 88. No longer able to paint, she fell back on her piano playing as a creative outlet. Tragic as the blindness was, it forced her to improvise rather than use sheet music when playing the keyboard. I filmed all of these sessions following her 90th birthday, unbeknownst to her.
