why would you run it? It's hard to get out, they don't have a good eff and it's a horrible dead card in hand. There's no point in running it and it's against the gb play style to try really hard to get a particular gb out.

GB Octavius is outclassed by Bestiari for the effect and is a 7 star monster. What do you do if you have it in hand? You'd end up having to run Respite or something to get it back into your deck.
GB Alexander has a decent effect, but is a 6 star monster instead.
Having to tribute summon these guys is horrible.

how come every gladiator deck i play and see on youtube, doesnt have alexander or octavious? i mean ive never seen them in any gladiator deck

I guess cause most cat deck a cookie cutter version they have very few room for techs
