well, if he keeps this thing low miles, in 20 or so years, it's probably going to be worth A LOT!!! why do ya think 60's era GT500's sell for over $100,000 today. The stock steering wheel from an original KR is worth over $2000 alone. But you are right, a 460 in another mustang would be pretty beast!

Why dont you rich guys get a V6 stang and put a real Ford motor in there?
10-15 grand will get you a killer Ford motor with 600-700hp [maybe a Ford 460cu in], spend another 8 grand maybe to get it swaped in, maybe 6 grand more for a built tranny. Basically youd have something for less then the GT500, and it would really be a KR! It would completely stomp the GT500 without the supercharger whine!

Beautiful car. I just picked up a torch red GT500 a month ago. Exhaust sounds great. The GT500 should have came with that exhaust. They are extremely quite from the factory.
