http://shortsalepowerhour.com Fred Weaver of Group 46:10, Arizonas Premier Short Sale Team called BofA to get the low down on the new HAFA program. You're going to love this.
Classic. I love about 6:40 in; where he basically says nearly ALL the major mortgage holders (investors) DO NOT participate in the new HAFA program. FHA, VA, Fannie/Freddie, and a number of private investors will NOT participate. I swear they build these programs up so high in the media; and people get there hopes up only to be let down when they actually call in for help. The video is amusing to those of us who deal with this daily; but it's sad that the banks continue to give false hope.
I can't tell you how many articles I have read in the last couple of days who say Fannie Mae will do the HAFA and others say they are not doing the HAFA. Some articles say you need to be behind on payments and others say no you don't. I'm not sure if they know what is what. Scarey.
