Good fight. Taylor is slick as a beaver. He blocks, he slips, he's in range and then he's nipped back out again, side to side, goes under some of jacksons hooks, he outmuscles on the inside. shows good chin, and gets it on when its time to war.

Fair play to The Hawk too, he took the slightly early stoppage like a champ.

Quincy Taylor was a ridiculously skilled boxer and Julian Jackson was a ridiculously powerful puncher. A great "boxer versus puncher" fight!

Quincy was avoided by A LOT of people because of the story of him KOing Ray Leonard in sparring when Leonard was prepping to fight Marvin Hagler. Leonard actually was going to fight and exchange with Marvin up until Taylor hit him with a left hand that seperated him from his brain for a minute, and credits Quincy with the reasoning behind his style change.
