It is possible with a bit of technique and patience to get an animal to cooperate to grooming procedures. Zorro used to wiggle, scream and generally freak out when one tried to clip his nails. After a few months he is now able to stay calm and coooperate, even if he still doesn't love it. The methods used have been clicker training and gradual acceptence of restrein. It is important to go slowly at first, not to scare, pressure and stress the dog. More info: www.coeurcanin.com
