This song is a spin-off from an old blues song where the singer is upset about some problem with his love life so he says "Hold that train at the station", like some train would wait for him because his girl won't treat him right. That struck me as hysterical, but the rest of the lyrics just kind of rambled off to nowhere, so I rewrote the whole song except for that line. I beg forgiveness of the original author.

Blues music has a style of humor all it's own. Finding humor out of pain and tragedy is a powerful emotional experience. In fact, for all I know, joy and humor might not even exist of it weren't for misery.

  • Excellent performance, recording, and mix. Which recording app do you use?

  • @ScalerWave This went from a single mic to a DVCAM camera (DSR300), then into Final Cut Pro on a Mac Pro, encoded to 4800k H.264Quicktime movie and uploaded at high res (native res) to YouTube.

  • I can't believe you are not more popular, excellent blues and excellent sense of humor.

  • @Snowblindinfinity Thanks to all for the great comments.

Cool, it's nice to call back here to hear this again (sounds even better the second time)

I loved your egg lighting "low down" too. I used to be a semi-pro photographer years ago, and loved (still do I guess) photography, had my own dark room etc,, nice to see the "detail" of lighting techniques.

  • : D so good.
