Hi Amelia! I had my surgery October 7th 2010, I hope you'll still be able to answer me! But I just found out I have an ulcer too! I found out in Dec. 3rd now another month has gone by and I'm having the stomach pains again! My doctor just changed my antacid but the pain is awful!!! What happen with you? Did the ulcer go away with your medications?

Nice to see you smiling in this video and upbeat altough you have an ulcer. I admire you.

no big deal, I had that test done 7 times and they did it to me once without the anestesia.

Do they know why you got the ulcer?
-
my endoscopy was the same way

Thank you for your response. I had an exray this morning and it showed an indention in the esophagus and the doctor thought there could be a possible little ulcer there. He gave me a prescription for it so it should help and correct itself. I told a couple of friends about you and they are watching you as well and are very pleased with your help. Keep up the good work and you look absolutely beautiful. You should be so proud of yourself. People think gastric bypass is easy but it's not.
Oh my gosh! So sorry to hear you have an ulcer but glad it's going to be ok:)
Those are some serious horse pills - are you crushing or cutting them in half?
Keep up the awesome work Amelia & thank you for your videos.

no, they actually crumble very quickly so i swallow them whole. I fill my mouth with water drop the pill in, let it fall to the back of my throat and.. Gulp. I have chocked it up once and tasted it crumble so i am more careful now

Amelia, you ROCK! Thanks so much for documenting & sharing your story, including the plastic surgery. I hope the ulcer heals quickly. Your hair looks GREAT! & I would not have known you didn't have makeup on if you haven't said so. Do you think all the surgeries and everything you've been through with the Gastric Bypass....NOW looking back has it been worth it all???

Absolutely, I wouldn't take the Gastric Bypass back for nothing! It is important to know that complications still CAN happen even if you do EVERYTHING right

Hi Amelia, love your videos. I watch them all the time. I am two weeks out from surgery and am starting to have "real food" but the problem, I keep vomiting. Did you have this problem too?

you need to slow down and reduce the portion, vomiting is a sign you are over-doing it
